What are the basic books for upsc preparation?

 

UPSC or civil service examinations are the keys to success in life as they allow you to join civil services, including Indian police services and Indian administration services. But getting successful in life is not an easy task, and cracking the UPSC exam is also not easy. The success rate of these exams is 0.1%.

 You have to start your study with NCERT Books of classes 11 and 12 as they will cover essential technologies of the economy that will help you understand the economy's growth.

 You can also consider 'Indian economy' by Ramesh Singh as several IAS toppers and teachers highly recommend this book.

 5.       Current affairs

 Current affairs play a crucial part in the UPSC Exams. You must read daily newspapers for information on current affairs. 'India year book' is also a great choice to learn current affairs for UPSC exams. It covers complete information about the country, including essential dignitaries, state policy, policy schemes, etc.
