These include the preliminary, main examination, and also a personality test. The aspirants, to begin with, have to appear and clear the preliminary examinations. Once this is cleared, you as a candidate must appear and clear the main examination. Once the mains are cleared, the final test is the personality test.

As a desiring candidate of the IFS cadre, you have to apply through the online mode only; this is the standard application form of the CSE (Central Service Examination). Therefore, as an applicant, you have to do it through the online mode only.
