Who is not eligible for IAS Exam?

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service, which is one of the most prestigious civil services in India. Who is eligible for IAS Exam?

2.Age limit: The candidate must be between 21 and 32 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which he/she is appearing for the exam. There are certain age relaxations for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, etc.

3.Educational qualification: The candidate must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution. The candidates who are in the final year of their degree program are also eligible to apply for the exam.

4.Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts allowed for the IAS exam is six for general category candidates, nine for OBC candidates, and unlimited attempts for SC/ST candidates.

5.Physical standards: The candidate must meet the physical standards as prescribed by the UPSC.
