What are the eligibility criteria for appearing in the IFS examination?

 To appear in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in India, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. The criteria include the following:

1.Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

5.Number of Attempts: There are restrictions on the number of attempts a candidate can make to appear for the IFS examination. The maximum number of attempts varies based on the candidate's category.
